More than I expected! This is my first online class and I was afraid it wouldn't be much of a benefit to me but I figured I would at least be challenged to scrap more! Boy, I was wrong, I have learned tons (and this is only the first week) plus the gallery is amazing! I can't think of a single other thing that I could ask for! Keep up the amazing work Janna and Val!

As a newbie I would like to say this was everything I expected and more. You gals are doing fantabulous!!! I love everything about GS 102! The sketches are great. I like that I have been able to scrapbook alot of my 4X6 pics. The community is very friendly and theses talented ladies give lots of positive feedback. The tips are wonderful. It is very exciting to learn new techniques and try out new ideas! As for the gallery, IT ROCKS! There is so much inspiration out there!

This class has been terrific! The sketches are so versatile, and it seems there is always something new to be looking forward to. So many creative tips and tricks - and fresh ideas. I have found the members to be so enthusiastic and supportive, which is also wonderful! The camaraderie of learning alongside fellow scrappers is marvelous! And what a talented bunch, to boot. The gallery is chockfull of terrific work!

Val and Jann, you are doing a great job! Love that it is all layouts, and that you thru in a card as a bonus. I love to do cards with my left over scraps from pages. And of couse it is just fun to come on here and have fun with your scrapping friends and see all the cool pages everyone does with the sketches.
That said, are you planning 103 yet???????????? Enquiring minds want to know. Maybe after Christmas when we have all of our Fall and Christmas pictures to scrap?

I am new and lovin it all.....the sketches are great and I love the tips for making my own embellys!!! I have actually not bought anything for the class and have just been using up my stash!!!

Gotta say that I'm liking it better this time around. I'm not really a card maker (I made my first card in the 101 class), and I do not like altering projects. I'm really glad this class is giving us awesome layouts to do.
My goal this class was to spend more time looking at the gallery and leaving comments. I'm glad I'm doing it because there is a lot of spectacular work in there. Keep up the great work, everyone (Val and Janna included)!

All I can say is Wow! I've been motivated to do the fabulous sketches even though I normally only do 2 page sketches, I've been able to work them in. I've tried new ways of embellishing my pages and now I'm not just doing plan paper layouts just to get them done! Can't wait for the next one!

Need I say how much I love it?? Yes, every sketch a few times over!! My house does not get cleaned.......I do not make meals.........BUT I GET ADDICTED TO THIS SITE!! I wish you could do something with a 'weight' online class that would motivate me to lose a few pounds........cuz whatever 'powers' you girls have ........they come thru loud and clear on my puter!!.......the suction is amazing!!! That being said........I love this class EVEN more than last.....and I was thrilled with the last one! I too would rather see all layouts........love the mix of both and with a 5x7 thrown in........Im seriously in heaven!! Nice that you thru a card in with the cupcake ........used that too!!!! Please just do an all year around class........we're all eager learners! ha!

Me too. This is my first online class and it has been all I expected AND more. I have enjoyed it every day....made several versions of each sketch-- which is helping me to dwindle down that massive stack of photos-- and I have been so inspired by your layouts and tips! When is the next one? Count me in!

This class was well worth it! I"ve always loved the got sketches from the blog but having tips and techniques and being able to veiw so many creative layouts makes it awesome! Thank you for all the hard work you have put into this class Val and Janna!

This is the second class that I've taken with you. I LOVED Got Sketch 101 and I am loving Got Sketch 102 even more because it's ALL scrapping. As I said in the last chat ..I've already signed up for Got Sketch 103. lol
Being a Fiskateer, I was sort of familiar with your work on the Fiskars Craft site and when I saw your post on the Fiskateer message board for the first class I had to check it out. It didn't take me long to realize that your class was for me. I enjoyed every minute of it. The sketches are amazing, the tips are so helpful, I love having a forum where we can connect with other scrappers and the gallery is chock full of talent & inspiration.
Even though I am behind on this class (life & health gets in the way sometimes) I am loving every minute of it. I appreciate all the time, effort & hard work that you have put into making this class such a huge hit. Thanks so much for sharing your time, talent & creativity with us. Like I said.....I'm already in for Got Sketch 103. lol (seriously)

I ditto this comment. I love the 4x6 photos and the two page layouts. The multi-photo layouts are the ones that sketches are most helpful for, and I was glad to use many photos while preparing my layouts here.
The samples are out of this world, and I believe they along with the sketches and tips have taken my pages to another level this month.
Don't know, if I will be able to keep it up after the class is over though. How about sending us another sketch/sample per month to help with the withdrawals until the next class? : )

The mainly 4x6 photos are great and multi photo layouts are always a bonus! It seems most sketches/layouts use a single picture. Of course I love the double pagers best and hope to see a few more!

I enjoyed Got Sketch 101 but really love Got Sketch 102! I love all the layout sketches and am getting layouts done and that is a good thing! Your sketches are easy enough to finish quickly with lots of great embellishments to add to make the layouts special. Love the tips as well! Can't wait for Got Sketch 103!

Val and Janna...I have to say that your classes ROCK! :) I am so in love with this class and have been super inspired so far and have completed some of my favorite pages in awhile. I absolutely love that this class is all layouts! Also the variety of layouts is great and the layouts are super versatile and easy to turn a 1 pager into a 2 pager and visa versa. :) Thanks so much ladies and keep up the great work!

I am very happy to say that 102 is even more then I expected!!! I did 101 and thought it couldn't get any better then that but, for me, 102 is even better! I love all of the sketches this time around for layouts, which is what I mostly do, and then when you throw in a card for one of the tips, to me that is perfecto!! I know Val that you and Janna put alot of hard work into these classes and I must say thank you for all that you do!

I think you ladies are doing GREAT! I'm a little behind on my sketches because I've been working like crazy but I have all the info I need when the time comes! Hopefully tomorrow I'll get to work on it a little bit. I'm having so much fun and already can't wait for the next one. Thank you!

loving it!! i havent finished the third and fourth skecthes... only because my hubby has been home on vacation this week. so maybe next week will be a catch up week for me.
THOUGH i need like a diagram or something to figure out how to add embellishments in a balanced way. i liked janna's sketch with directions on how to do the triangle... i made a special effort to apply that this time. but when making a CLUSTER of embellishments like around the title or across a page... ( i realize its a natural thing).... but can you maybe go back to some of your older pages and find like rules of thumb that might apply to how to get it balanced? it may be too much... but i though i would ask.
sorry for the sad typing here... i seem to always be holding the baby while i type...

I've been happy that all of the sketches & tips have been usable (I'm a newby)! My main purpose in taking the class was to begin scrapbooking again after taking a summer off...and it has been a great success for me. Seven pages done so far! Two sketches/week is a good goal for me that is achievable but yet challenging.

Val and Janna ya'll are amazing LOVE your work!! Enjoyed GS101 but love that this is all layout's this go around. My fav is 2 pager's!! I don't complete every sketch but I enjoy looking at everyone's and getting lots of different idea's. Love the tip's ya'll give us some I would have never thought of!

Ok, first time taking an online class, I really had no idea what to expect. I LOVE what I've gotten for this class. Love having the step by steps with little asides too. LOVE that the focus has been on 4x6's. I'm still struggling a little with my brain thinking I have to measure use everything you tell me too, but am pleasantly reassured when I get to the gallery and see all the different 'takes' on the sketches. I really really love when in the pdf.s for each sketch you give a little nudge on how the sketch can change, and love when you point out which elements are adding to balance, which to eye flow. That is what I was needing to learn in a way. I mean I can see it in other's work, but didn't believe it in mine, if that makes any sense...So yes, loving the class, more than I was expecting and close on all points to what I was looking for.

I am LOVING GS102! I'll definitely be joinging GS103 (hint,hint). Anyway, I didn't have high expectations because I had never done this before. I did think, though, that there was a sketch given every day and that we had one day to complete a layout and only one layout per person was allowed. Don't know why I thought that--I just did. I am so glad that there's no limit to the number of layouts or the time it takes to get them done. I love that we can go at our own pace as well. The members are fantastic ladies, with no criticism at all. It's such a fun-loving, creative group of ladies and I'm glad to be a part of it!

Girls, you know I loved 101 - but I'm loving 102 even more!!!! I'm screaming like Mary from SYTYCD I'm that excited about this class! I love that you've listened to our feedback and the sketches are all layouts. I'm loving all the multiphoto sketches and your samples and tips/techniques have been very inspiring. LOVE IT ALL!!! I love seeing everyone's interpretations in the gallery and I really appreciate all the friendly and encouraging comments I've received. What more can I say...GOT SKETCH 102 ROCKS!!!! But then, Janna and Val - you never disappoint.

This is my first time taking the sketch class and I think it is awesome. I don't want it to end!! SERIOUSLY!! If I could sign up for a whole year I would!! REALLY!! I am having so much fun chatting, looking in the gallery and working on sketches!! I think Val and Janna are doing an awesome job. I love the tips too. Your sketches are beautifully displayed, as is the whole site. Very organized too and easy to navigate. I like that. I like that the focus here is on layouts too. I like to do a little of everything in papercrafting, cards, mini albums and altered items, but my main love is photo layouts. I really like that this is the main focus here.

I did not do the first class, but if I would have known it was anything like this I definitely would have. I won this class so I came in pretty relaxed. So far it is awesome! I love tha fact that you make us use our stash and make multi picture LO.
The tips are great and so are the bonus projects.
My advertisement advice would be: With your advertisement focus more on the stash and the multi part. What I have noticed is that many scrappers are getting tired of the single photo LO;s and the growing pile of pictures they have.
Janna and Valerie: My compliments! You are doing a great job. I love your envolvement in this class. No critizism from me!

I'm more behind than I was on 101, but that's because of an arm injury and not because of 102's schedule. I like the pace of this one more. I'd rather be behind than waiting for the next layout. LOL I have #4 about 90% done, but it's been slow going for me.
Love all the work being shared on the gallery and the tips too.

This was my first online class...EVER! And after my friend talked me off the ledge about getting my "homework" done, I was good to go. I LOVE this class!! I have gotten more layouts done in two weeks, than I have over the last three months. I too have a huge stash of photos and this has allowed me to make a major dent in my stack. I love the multi photo layouts and also the two pagers. I have gotten more creative and now my friend and I are challenging each other for those days when we don't receive a layout! PLEASE do another class...and SOON!! I would sign up year round if I could! THANK YOU!
